final proposal

In my final projext of my sculpture class, I'm going to work more on garbage recycling in art. Currently, I'm working on Tony Crogg's pieces and I did get some ideas. It is interesting to transfer the form of garbage and make them into a new thing. The process of integration and desolve apply to the idea of Dissonance and harmony. The work, as the material itself, does not change, but when viewed as an artwork, it can be a totally different thing and created to express something fresh.
My original design is made up with several wheels which are in dfferent sizes. And they are going to be filled with a variety of garbage from people's daily lives. The dissonance is expressed by the features of the wheels including the arrangement of them. At the same time, I'm going to make can create harmony by the paradox. As a three dimensional piece, I suppose it will be better to have people walk around or through them.

Your project sounds more of an arrangement of garbage according to the categories listed? Color? Size? Will you focus on the formal qualities you might obtain with garbage (color, material, texture) or can it be "a totally different thing and created to express something fresh" as you put it?
